When Amundsen developed the Roamer Anorak the prototypes was put to a field test ranging from Oslo in the south to above the polar circle in order to find the perfect balance for Norwegian summer conditions. The version you see here was the anorak of choice for all participants of the adventure, a polyester anorak that breathe and dry extremely well yet gives shelter from wind and rain. Amundsen concluded that it was better with a garment that dries fast after the rain than one that close in the humidity and makes you hot and damp in fair weather.
The Amundsen Roamer anorak is perfect for hiking or biking to the coffe shop or across the country. The brushed surface makes it soft and silent the hood is fitted to use with a helmet, a zipper on the side makes the anorak easy to take on and off and makes for extra ventilation. The large chest pocket has room for everything you need to keep close and is out of the way for your back pack straps.
